What this site is

Eye Health Insider is a publication. We read published research and product labels, and we write about what they say. We are not a pharmacy, a clinic or a healthcare provider.

What this site is not

Nothing here is medical advice. No article on this site creates a doctor-patient relationship, and none of it is a substitute for examination by a qualified professional. If you have a diagnosis, a symptom that worries you, or you take prescription medication, speak to your doctor or pharmacist before starting any supplement. Eye conditions that threaten sight progress silently; a website cannot examine your retina.

Dietary supplements are not medicines. In the United States they are not reviewed by the FDA for safety or effectiveness before sale. Statements on this site have not been evaluated by the FDA. No product mentioned here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
